What To Do Before You Start
Before you begin potty training with this method, I suggest you go through every lesson in this course first and become familiar with each step. This will give you a chance to prepare before getting started which will increase the likelihood of success for your child. Then, as you start the process, you can revisit each lesson.

Choose 3-4 days, about one month away that you can devote completely to potty training. If you have other children it might be beneficial to have the first day or two where your spouse or someone else entertains them so you can give 100% of your attention to your potty training child.
During the next few weeks, let your child come into the bathroom with you to sit on his/her small potty while you use the bathroom. This may feel awkward at first, but the more familiar your child is with the process, the easier training will be so try to let go of your weirdness and embrace the whole process. Anytime your child asks to go sit on it, praise them like they have done something great.
Every time you change a diaper during this time, tell them, you went pee, or yo went poop, so they start to recognize what they have done. Also say, pee (or poop) goes in the potty. The more they hear this, the better.
